The Crafty Chook is a small soap making business located on the Wild West Coast, Hokitika, NZ. 

Our aim is to create products that are chocker full of laughs with a dash of political incorrectness, sprinklings of humour and bucket loads of attitude.

Our soaps are inspired by the fabulously diverse, quirky and unique people in our world. We also create custom event soaps for weddings, business goodies, accommodation outlets and so much more.

Jeez...How many years ago did we make this? Its an oldie and so much has changed in our soaping world but we still so love it! TCC promo from the archives after winning the Dev Westcoast 'Pitch Your Product". Our prize being a Promotional Filming with local videographer Andrew from Weka Films. This was bucket loads of fun to be involved in and Andrew has done an outstanding job in totally capturing the attitude, humour and energy we promote in our products and life in general. A HUGE thanks to our Wild Childs for all their legendary acting skills, creeping outside their comfort zones and all round enhusiasm. And a very special thank you to little Luca and Honey the Dog for that extra added cuteness. An awesome day at the Hokitika Beach, a perfectly moody West Coast day...who needs HOLLYWOOD when we have HOKITIKA!
